Integration · Make

Your QR codes, inside every Make scenario

Turn a spreadsheet into hundreds of QR codes with their images, get a message the moment one is scanned, and send yourself a weekly scan report. QRvora has its own app in Make, so you build it all on the canvas, without writing code.

The Make app is in early access. Ask and we'll send you the link.

How to connect, step by step ↓

A scenario, start to finish

  1. 1

    When this happens

    QRvora · Watch New Scans

Table tents · Austin, US · iPhone

  2. 2

    Filter

    Only scans in the US

    Country = US

  3. 3

    Then

    Slack · Create a message

"Table tents scanned in Austin just now"

Ideas to start with

Each one takes a few minutes to build in Make. Mix and match the modules.

Google Sheets

Search rows

QRvora

Create a QR Code

Run it once over a sheet of 300 products or rooms and get a code for each row. Write the short link back into the sheet and save each image to Drive in the same scenario.

QRvora

Watch New Scans

Slack

Create a message

"Your shop-window code was just scanned in Austin." Add a filter so only scans from one city or one code get through.

Every Monday

What QRvora can do in Make

Triggers · start a scenario

  • Watch New Scans Instant

    Pro and Business

Instantly, every time someone scans one of your dynamic codes. Choose one code or all of them.

Gives you: Code name, city, country, device, time

  • Watch New QR Codes Instant

    Pro and Business

Instantly, when a code is created in your account: in the dashboard, by API or by bulk upload.

Gives you: Name, short link, destination, type

Actions and searches · do something

  • Create a QR Code

    Starter and up

A dynamic code that opens any web address. Map a row or order ID as its unique ID and a re-run never makes a duplicate.

  • Download a QR Code Image

    Starter and up

The code as a PNG or SVG file, in its saved colours, ready for Google Drive, Dropbox, an email or a print shop.

  • Update a QR Code

    Starter and up

Change where a printed code goes, rename it, or pause it. Every printed copy follows at once.

  • Search QR Codes

    Starter and up

Find codes by part of their name or by short link, then update or report on each one.

  • Get Scan Stats

    Starter and up

A code's scans over any period: the total, each day, and the top countries, cities and devices.

  • Get and Delete a QR Code

    Starter and up

Read one code with its scan count, or remove codes you no longer need.

  • Make an API Call

    Starter and up

Anything else in the QRvora API, with your connection already signed in.

How to connect, step by step

About five minutes, from API key to a working scenario.

  1. 1

Create an API key in QRvora

Sign in to QRvora and open Dashboard → API. Under API keys, give the key a name like “Make” and click Create key.

Copy the key that appears. It starts with qrf_ and is shown only once.

API keys come with every paid plan from Starter. Your email address needs to be verified.

  2. 2

    Add QRvora to a scenario

In Make, click Create a new scenario, then the big +. Search for QRvora and pick a module: Watch New Scans to start a scenario, or Create a QR Code, Search QR Codes and the others as a later step.

  3. 3

    Connect your account

Click Create a connection, paste the API key from step 1 and click Save. The connection is named after your email address, and every later scenario can reuse it.

If Make says the key isn't valid, check it was copied whole and that the account is on Starter or above.

  4. 4

Fill it in and run once

For Create a QR Code, enter a name and the web address it should open, or map them from the module before it. Click Run once; the bubble over the module shows the new code's short link.

For Watch New Scans, click Run once and then scan one of your codes with your phone. The scan arrives within a few seconds.

  5. 5

Add the next module and turn it on

Add what should happen next, like Slack, Google Sheets or Google Drive, map the fields from QRvora, save, and switch the scenario on. Every run is listed in the scenario's history.

Turning a scenario off or deleting it removes its webhook from your QRvora account. It shows there as "Added by Make" while it's active.

Common questions

Do I need to write code?+

No. You build a scenario by dragging modules onto the canvas and mapping fields with a click. If you'd rather write code, our REST API and webhooks do the same things.

Which QRvora plan do I need?+

Every module except the two Watch triggers uses the API, which comes with every paid plan from Starter. Watch New Scans and Watch New QR Codes use webhooks, which come with Pro and Business.

Do I need a paid Make plan?+

Make has its own plans, including a free one with a monthly allowance of operations. A small scenario that runs on each scan fits in it; making thousands of codes at once needs a paid Make plan.

Can I create many codes at once?+

Yes. Put an iterator or a Google Sheets search before Create a QR Code and it runs once per row. Map each row's ID as the unique ID: if Make retries or you run it again, you get the same code back instead of a second one. Each code counts toward your QRvora plan's code limit.

How fast are the Watch triggers?+

Seconds. Each scan or new code is sent to Make the moment it happens, rather than Make checking on a schedule, and it doesn't use up your monthly API requests.

Is any personal information sent with a scan?+

No. A scan carries the code, the city and country, the type of device and the time. No IP address, no exact location and nothing that identifies the person scanning.

Is this an official integration?+

Yes. QRvora built and maintains it. If something doesn't work the way you expect, write to support@qrvora.com.

Put your QR codes to work

Start with a free QRvora account. When you're ready to automate, Starter adds the API and Pro adds instant scan triggers. See pricing.
